Imphal, Jauary 2: All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) selected five under-13 girls player including one goal keeper to attend trial for Indian U-13 Girls Coaching Camp which was scheduled to hold from January 7 to 14.
The players are M Linthoingambi of DSA Kakching (GK), H Daya, DSA Kakching, Ng Sweety (Imphal West DFA), A Roja Devi ( Imphal West DFA) and Kashmina (Imphal East DFA).
From the trial which will be held at SAI Centre Gandhinagar, Gujarat, players willwould be selected for the Indian camp to be held from January 15 to March 7 of this year, a release by AMFA said.
Another release said, former India and AFC 'C' License coach Kh. Surmani appointed as the coach of the state junior boys football team. The team is participating in the 48th Junior Boys National Football Championship for Dr. BC Roy Trophy 2011-12(tier-I ) which was scheduled to be kick off from January18 at Siliguri, West Bengal.
AIFF appointed Chim Chim Serto and Md. Latif Ali from Manipur as Match Officials for 48th Junior Boys National Football Championship for Dr. BC Roy Trophy 2011-12(tier-I ). During the championship, they would be examined for practicals and viva-voce to confirm their national referee grade, a release added.
