Wangkheirakpam Tomba Singh (born 3 April 1982 in NongmeibungManipurIndia) is an Indian professionalfootball player. He played in YWC, Thambakhong, Imphal before he becomes Professional player. He has gained good momentum of game from his home ground that is Workshop Ground in Nongmeibung at his locality as he loves football than his books. He plays as a midfielder for Mohun Bagan. Previously Tomba Singh has played for many teams. The most notable ones are Air India FC and Salgaocar SC. Tomba is one of the favorite player of his State Manipur. He has shown enough talent to national Games and exiting leagues matches in many places of India. Manipur and North east people are very crazy for his style of play in ground. Toba has recently released from Mohan Bagan for the session 2010-2011. He is gaining good weight in football and he will be doing better after leaving Begal clubs.
Manipur is proud of him as he scored the golden goal in the final of Santosh Trophy 2002 in Imphal.
In 2003 he was awarded Indian Player of the Year. His fans in Delhi made huge noise and wave in that final match inside stadium.
