KANGPOKPI, Nov.21: Shri. SH.Seipu, Chairman, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi open the 4th Mangboi Memorial Cup-2011 at Brig. M.Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi today.
While speaking at the opening ceremony as Chief Guest, Shri. SH.Seipu said that, the Centre Govt. has sanction for making a playground in respect of Sadar Hills District though it still waits for a full-fledged district. One playground each should be made to the village under Sadar Hills whose population is more than 1500. And other many other facilities will also be given for beautifying the playground said SH.Seipu.
He also encourages the youngster to take care of their health for their bright future in the field of games and sports.

The opening match played between Hengbung Youth Club and Team Willy ended with a 1-1 draw.
Seiminthang (12) scored for Team Willy in 43min while Helkhohao (14) scored for HYC in 60 min.Lamkhohao (5) of Team Will has been booked yellow Card in the 52nd min for his unsporting play.

Mention may be made here that, The 4th Mangboi Memorial Cup-2011 is scheduled to be held at 3 Playground viz. Brig. M.Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi, Keithelmanbi Ground and L.S. Playground, Motbung. All together 28 team will take part in the memorial cup. This 28 team were sub divided into 7 group comprising of 4 team each in each group.
Tomorrow Maohing Y/C will clash Kangpokpi Youth Union and Team Rainbow will played Haipi Youth Club at brig. M.Thomas ground Kangpokpi while ETS Motbung meets MYC (A) and LUB will clash with Raju Memorial team at L.S. Playground.
There will be no match at Keithelmanbi Playground tomorrow.

A cash prize of Rs.50, 000, Rs. 30,000, Rs.15, 000 and Rs. 5,000 will be award to the winner of the tournament, second, third and fourth respectively.
The tournament is organized being organized by Sadar Hills District Football Association in collaborations with Sadar Hills Veteran Football Clubs.
