A moment during the match between  Imphal East( Red) and Bishnupur ______________________________

IMPHAL, Dec 24: Imphal West District Football Association  and Imphal East Distric Football Association scored contrasting victories in the opening day of the 23rd Junior Boys Inter District Football Tournament at Khuman Lampak Main stadium today.

In the opening match  Imphal West overcame  District sports Association Kakching by the odd goal in three with N Ibochouba netting the former's goals in the 2nd and 4th minutes and N Robinson reducing the score deficit in the 33rd minute.

Md Amir khan (11th, Md Tajuddin (21st), Md Rohit Hussain (60th, 73rd), Md Imran (72nd/P) and KM Boicha (80+2) scored in the demolition of the Bishnupur side, whose O Abung was given the marching order for handling the ball inside the restricted zone.

DFA, Thoubal are the other team in the competition.

IMPHAL, Dec 24: Health Minister L Jayentakumar and Works Minister K. Ranjit jointly opened the 3rd M. Rabichandra Memorial Men's Open Football Tournament at Kyamgei Ideal High School Ground today evening.

In the opening day of the tournament which being sposoring by M. Rabichandra Memorial Trust Kiyamgei Imphal East, CYTL, Okram Chuthek defeated Khagemba FC-A, Kyamgei 3-1. The  match enthralled the spectators.

Khagemba FC could lead the match in the first five minutes of the match through Santanu's goal. K. Premjit of CYTL levelled the score in 23rd minute. Kh. Satish (41st minute) and Robson(43rd minute) added a goal each to seal for win the match.
