State to send u-14 girls for national camp
Imphal, December23: Four field players and one goal keeper from Manipur will be sent for National Football Selection Camp for U-13 Girls. All India Football Federation instructed state association AMFA to send the players for the said camp.
According to a release by AMFA, the camp will begin from 7th of January, 2012. From the selection camp, the players will be selected for National Camp which will begin from 15th January, 2012 at SAI Centre, Gahdhinagar.
All Manipur Football Association called for selection trial to select four field players and one goalkeeper. Payers who are willing to attend the selection trial were asked to apply . The selection would be held on 31st December, 2011, the release said.
Another release of AMFA said that AIFF had notified the schedules of Dr. B C Roy Trophy Jr National Football , U-14 Boys Football Festival and Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy Sub Junior National Football. BC Roy Trophy was scheduled from January 18, 2012. The football Festival would be from February 1 and Sub junior national from January 15, 2012. Coca Cola would be the sponsor of Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy Sub Junior National Football Championship, the release furthered.
