Smt. Mayanglambam Ongbi Bhagyabati Devi of Sagolband Meino Leirak in loving memory of her late husband, Shri (L) M.Chittamani Singh who, besides being a renown academician, was a great Hockey and Football Player.

a) Generally, the tournament is open to champion/ best teams of the DSAs/DFAs which is decided on the basis of  performances of the respective DSA/DFA Leagues held during the year.

b) Matches are played on Home & Away basis.

c) Though the tournament was initially meant for champion teams of the District assns., the entries have been extended to the 2nd best  teams in respect of IEDFA, which is the ESU( The Champion being YWC-TH) and the IWDFA, which is represented by TRAU( The Champion being YWC-TH). The decision for inclusion of 2nd best teams of the District  Assns. is to examine their performances with compared to those  of Champions of the  Districts.
