The inaugural function was graced by Tourism Commissioner KK Chhetry as Chief Guest. Senior Coordinator of UN AID Suchil Huidrom also attended the function.
The opening match was played between YOSC, Khurai and YSC Sekmaijin Awang in which YOSC beat YSC 3-2 after playing a tough match.
In the keenly contested match, Naoba of YSC drew first blood in the 5th minute of the match. It was equalised by Azarudin of YOSC in the 33rd minute of the match. After nine minutes in the 42nd minute, Sahajahan of YOSC scored one goal against YSC and took the lead.
The score was equalised in the 52nd minute of the match by Somorjit of YSC in the second half. However, YOSC took the lead again with their third goal by Thanchuingam in the 56th minute. Meanwhile, YSC players failed to equalise the score and lost the match.
