KOLKATA, April 6, 2012 :Aizawl FC picked up its first win of the final phase beating Vasco SC of Goa 3-2 in the second and decisive leg of the second division I-League at the Paljor Stadium (Gangtok) on Thursday.

The two teams were tied 2-2 in the first half with Michael Lalremruata scoring twice for Aizawl FC and Elvinio Fernandes and Agnelo Colaco scoring one each for Vasco SC. Lalbiakhlua found the winner for Aizawl late in the second session to ensure full three points for his side.

The win came after seven loses and a draw for Aizawl FC, which continues at the bottom of the league standings with four points from nine matches. Vasco SC remained on 10 points from its nine outings.
