New Delhi, Nov 7: The FIFA Grassroots Leaders Course in Kalyani ended with the organisation of a Grassroots Football Festival at the Kalyani Stadium ground. Eighty five kids between the age of 6-10 attended the Festival.

The festival which proved to be a huge success was organised by the Participants under the direction of Course Instructor Mr. Scott O’Donell, Technical Director, AIFF Regional and Elite Academies. The Festival lasted for 90 minutes and was the perfect experience for the participants in organising a Grassroots Football Festival in their respective States in the future. Three match stations and three technical stations were set up.

The festival was followed by an evaluation session between the coaches and the instructor. The Chairman of the Kalyani Municipality, Dr. PK Sur gave away the certificates to all the participants.
