Five teams qualify for final phase of 2nd Division League

New Delhi, March 25: Five teams namely Langsning FC, Rangdajied United Football Club, Mohammedan Sporting, Bhawanipore FC and Mumbai Tigers have booked their place in the final phase of the 2nd Division League.
While Langsning and Rangdajied have qualified from Group A (Singrauli), Bhawanipore and Mohammedan Sporting have made it from Group B (Indore). Mumbai Tigers are the only team to qualify from Group C (Bangalore).
Langsning beat George Telegraph 3-1 and Rangdajied got the better of Samaleshwari FC 2-0 to progress to the final round. From Group B, Bhawanipore ensured their place in the final round with a 1-1 draw against Mohammedan Sporting who had already qualified.
Mumbai TIgers, the only qualifier from Group C so far, beat Hindustan FC by two goals.
One from Southern Samity and Vasco SC will join them after the last round of Group C gets over on Wednesday (March 27, 2013).
