IMPHAL, Apr 24: N Gandhi's brace helped UVSA, Li- long Chajing rally to defeat RUVFA, Lairenkabi 2-1 while FVWA-B and Sadar Hills settled for a 1-1 draw in Group B matches of the 15th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tournament at Mapal kangjeibung today.

The day's first match saw Gandhi score in the 35th and 55th minutes after Athong Kom provided the breakthrough for the Lairenkabi veterans in the 28th minute.

In the second match, Rajen Kha-ngamba (53rd) cancelled out Songkhosat's eighth mi-nute strike for the Sadar Hills side.
