Imphal, May 28: In the quarter final matches of 15th Challenge Cup Veteran football tournament played at Mapal Kangjeibung here on Monday, FC, Imphal and VSAC have entered semifinal.

In the first quarter-final match played between FC and ISAV, the former defeated the latter 2-0. L Surchandra and M Ibomcha of the winning team scored one goal each for the team in the 43rd and 57th minutes of the match. The single goal of ISAV was scored by its player, N Ibocha in the 41 minute.

During the match, Ch Nabachandra of FC was given caution twice and his teammate Bale Takhel was given warning. T Shyam and T Joy of the opposite team were also given cautions.

Defeating SIRTI by 3-0, VSAC also entered semifinal. Paukhonlian, Kaikhomang and Chuana of VSAC scored one goal each for their team.
