Imphal, May 17: As the league round of the ongoing 24th junior boys inter district football tournament at the Artificial Turf Ground of Khuman Lampak Main Stadium ended today, four teams have been lined up for semifinal matches.

Defeating DSA Kakching 6-2, DSA Churachanpur of group A entered the semifinal. Paolin Sian of the winning team scored four goals in the 22, 37, 52 and 65 minutes of the last league round match of group A today to book a berth for the semifinal. Lalminlian and P Kangkhulian of DSA CCpur scored one goal each for their team. The two goals of DSA Kakching were scored by its player L Ambin.

The second match of the last league round for group B was played between Imphal West District Football Association (IWDFA) and Imphal East District Football Association (IEDFA). However, both the team was unable to score even a goal.

The first semifinal match of the tournament would be played between IWDFA and DSA Kakching on 19th May at 12.45 PM and on the same day DSA CCpur and IEDFA would have a face off  for the second semifinal match at 2.30 PM.
