Referees committee demands actions against AIM players, officials

IMPHAL, October 25: The Football Referees Welfare Committee has decided that the referees will cease to officiate matches of all the tournaments organized by the All Manipur Football Association in case the football body fail to take necessary action against Kh Loyalakpa alias Loya; AIM coach W Khogen Singh; AIM captain N Shangkar Singh for their role in attacking referee M Magho Singh, said a press release of the committee.
According to a statement of Referee Welfare Committee, an urgent meeting of the committee was convened on Thursday to discuss the mater and resolved to ceased their activities in the state till the AMFA will take appropriate disciplinary action against Kh Loyalakpa, AIM coach W Khogen Singh; AIM captain N Shangkar Singh.
