Violence halts ZFC-AIM match in second half

Imphal, October 24: The state league match between ZFC and AIM on Wednesday was suspended at 2.41 minutes of second half following a dispute over referee’s decision that sent off a player of AIM.

During the first half of the play, both the teams fought to a 2-2 draw. AIM were the first to break clear the defence of their opponents as Th Vandona fired a shot into the ZFC net barely three minutes at the start of first half. Then K Rocky doubled the score for AIM in the 21st.

Ngulkhosiam’s brace (35th and 45+1) helped ZFC to come back from two goals down to level the deficit.
