KSC, Lambulane blanked RYDO Charangpat of Thoubal 5-0 to sail into the second round of the 55th CC Meet Football Tournament . Senapati's MTFC ousted YDO Heinoukhongnembi from the tourment after defeating 2-1.
K Thanggoulian’s 18th minute strike helped KSC to lead 1-0 in the first session of the match. In the 45 minutes of the second session, four more goals were scored from KSC's side. to double the lead through SK Bungthot added their second goal in 68th minute and followed by the third in the 77th minute from Lalchungnung Kilong. Bungthot’s second of the match came off a penalty award in the 82nd minute. Helkhohao Vaiphei completed the rout two minutes from the final whistle.

Their win over RYDO by 5-0 in the opener of KSC today stands highest winning score so far in the tournament.
Earlier, MTFC ,Senapati edged past YDO, Heiknou Khongnembi Imphal. After Luthar (43rd) and N Ibomcha (77th) netting for the winners as L Gogocha pulled back one for the latter in the 81st minute.
After a major set back of YDO in recently concluded 6th manipur State League, today's defeat was their big dissappoinment in the current season. In the league , YDO's standing in the table was bottom and relegated from the league. This is second major setback after the league.
