Imphal, Jan. 18: KRYPSA, Naoremthong registered their second win to make semi-final berth in the 8th S. Ronika Memorial Junior Girls’ Football Tournament at Khuman Lampak main stadium. ImpNaharol Yaipha Thourang Club made it to the semi-finals of the tournament today after 1-1 draw with ESU, Wangkhei Palace Compound.
KRYPSA defeated YWC, Langthabal 2-0 in their last league encounter. Both the team could not open their goal account in the first session of 30 minutes. However, RK Janikabala Devi netted their first goal in 48th minute to make lead by her team KRYPSA. N. Ranjibala doubled the scores in 59th minute.
In another match, Naharol Yaipha held Eastern Sporting Union 1-1 but still managed to make it to the stage of last four as they have collected enough points from the league.
