MARGAON: Churchill Brothers Coach Subhas Bhowmick is keeping his fingers crossed and hoping Churchill Brothers Sports Club can finish a creditable second in the I-League. For that to happen, Churchill will not just have to put it across Pailan Arrows at the Nehru Stadium, Fatorda on Sunday (April 5), but will also have to hope that neither Pune FC nor East Bengal add any further points to their tally.
Churchill stay on 45 points from 25 matches while Pailan are on 16 points from 25 matches.“A second-placed finish will be a good achievement for the team. I have told them to target the second spot. We can only win our match against Pailan Arrows, the rest is not in our hands,” said Bhowmick, the Churchill Technical Director.
The kick-off is slated for 6pm.
