Manipur squad for Santosh Trophy 2012 announced


Imphal, May 03 : All Manipur Football Association announced 20 members team to represent the State in the 66th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy to be held in three cities of Odisha from May 11 to 27.


The intensive training for the team preparation would begin from 4th of May under the AFC ' B' Liscence coach Kh. Surmani, former Indian team member. Another 'B' Liscence holder and AFC trained Goal Keeping coach S. Premkanta would help Surmani during training session.

Defenders: M Govin Singh (United Sikkim), Syed Farid (United Sikkim), K Naoba Singh (AR), 
K James Singh (Royal Wahingdo Shillong), L Chandramani (AIM), K Priyokumar Singh (MPSC), L Ratan Singh (NISA)

Midfielders: L Nabachandra (Langshing Shillong), Th Priyokumar (ASEB), I Ajit Singh (Assam Rifles), Ph Boy Singh (Royal Wahingdo Shillong), L Chaothoiba (Assam Rifles), E Abocha Singh (TRAU), L Gouro Singh (AIM).
