IMPHAL, August 21: PHLYO, Thangmeiband defeated HNSC, Lilong Haoreibi by 2-1 in the ongoing Imphal West 1st division football league at THAU ground.

The goal scorers for PHLYO are N Surjit (40th) and Y Gopi (54th) while Ng Ratan (46th) scored for HNSC.

In the other match of the day, BMSC, Toubungkhok defeated CYLC, Chinga mathak by 4-0.

Kakching 2nd division league

Thongjao Union Club (TUC) beat Youth Progressive Organization (YPO) 1-0 in the first ground, while Social Welfare Sporting Club (SWSC) beat Public Youth Club (PYC) Keirak 2-1 in the second ground of today’s matches of Kakching 2nd Division Football League Tournament 2012 at DSA Ground, Kakching.

Kamthangling scored the lone goal of the first ground match between TUC and YPO in 5 minutes of the match. Gulbudin (6th minute) and Riaz Khan (61st minute) of YPO were caution during the match.

Meanwhile, in the second ground match between SWSC and PYC, Nepolian (40th minute), Arunkumar (55th minute) scored for SWSC, while Rupachandra (61st minute) scored the lone goal of PYC.
