IMPHAL, August 23: YAC, Yaiskul defeated KRYPSA, Naoremthong by a lone goal in the ongoing Imphal West 1st division football League at the THAU ground.

The only goal of the match was scored by AK Keininglung in the 43rd minute for YAC.

In the second ground match, L Rojit Singh scored in the 32nd minute for GC CRPF, Langjing to defeat CHIKL, Lilong Chajing.

Meanwhile, in the Kakching 2nd division league, PYC, Keirak defeated YPO, SOra by 2-1.

Arif Khan scored in the 40th and 54th minutes for the winning team while, Riyaz Khan scored for YPO in the 56th match.

DSA-SH invites

The Sadar Hills District League 2012 will be organised by District Sports Association Sadar Hills from 28 August, 2012 at Brig. M. Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi.

All affiliated club may obtain the admission forms from the association office at Kangpokpi during office hours. The association further informed that last date of form submission is fixed on 25 of August. The same day at 12 noon club manager meeting would be held at the Association Office at Kangpokpi, the statement added.
