Imphal, Dec 10: ECHEL Club, Dibong Jiribam has entered into the next round of the 56th CC Meet Qualifying round being held at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal. All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) is organising the tournament.

ECHEL Club, Jiribam blanked YWC, Thambalkhong with three goals to move into the next round. Lalzairem Hmar scored the first goal of the match in the 62nd minute of the match. Soon he was followed by his teammate C Lalringam Hmar with two goals in 65th and 69th minutes of the match. On the other hand, YWC players failed to score a single goal against their opponent and lost the match.

Kh Tomba, M Aboy and Kh Rahul of YWC and C Lalringam Hmar and K Kulun of ECHEL Club were issued a yellow card each for playing fouls during the match.

AVO, Kakching and NACO, Nambul Mapal will play the next match tomorrow at 2 pm. Winner of tomorrow’s match will fight ECHEL Club, Dibong Jiribam in the next round.
