IMPHAL, Jan 5: Imphal West DFA teams wrested the titles of the 11th junior girls and 13th senior women inter district football tournament held at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium. In the final matches played today, Imphal West and Imphal East were locked in a 1-1 draw in the junior competition with the former clinching the crown on virtue of its 2-1 win in the second match. The first ended in a goalless draw.

The IW senior team defeated their arch rival IE 2-0 today to win the three-match series 2-1, having won the first at 3-0 and suffering 1-4 defeat in the second.
