Imphal, May 26: Imphal East District Football Association drubbed DSA Kakching 16-1 in the 12th Junior Girls’ Inter-District Football Tournament at Khuman Lampak sports complex on Sunday.
Kashmina of Imphal East was the topscorer, firing in seven goals, while Ranjita Devi struck four goals, Ranjana Chanu fetched two, Premi Devi, Radhapyari Devi and Ican Devi chipped in with one each. The lone goal for DSA Kakching came from Daya Devi in the second half.
THAU U-14 soccer: Birchandra Singh Football Academy, Tabungkhok, entered the final of the 29th THAU State Level Under-14 Football Tournament beating YOSC Khurai by 7-6 goals at Thangmeiband Athletic Union ground.
