Imphal, June 7: Little Master English Higher Secondary School and CT Higher Secondary School have won the U-14 and U- 17 boys' final matches respectively of the Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament for Under 14-yr Boys & 17 yrs (Boys & Girls)-2013 being organised by District Youth Affairs & Sports, Imphal East and played at Khuman Lampak Practice Ground here on Thursday.

U-14 team of Little Master English Higher Secondary School won the tournament by defeating Standard Public School 3-1. Johnson, Ph Langamba and Sh Bijen of the winning team scored one goal each. Jackson of Standard Public School netted the lone goal of his team.

In the Final match of U-17 boys played between CT Higher Secondary School and Little Master English Higher Secondary School, the former defeated the later 2-0. Raju and Kapon of the winning team scored one goal each.

Meanwhile, organised under the aegis of District YAS Department, the  Imphal West edition of the tournament has also begun from today at Khuman Lampak Practice ground.
In the first match of the tournament of Under 14, North East English School defeated Keibi High School in tie-break by 4-2.
Defeating Den high School by 3-0, U-17 team of North East English School won today's match. Sailesh, Telheiba and Fajuruddin netted one goal each.
