The qualifier of 55th Sir Churachand Singh KCSI, CBE Memorial Football Tournament popularly known as CC Meet will begin on October 19 at Mapal Kangjeibung Imphal. Opening match of the qualifier will be played between MUVANLAI AC of Sadar Hills  and UUFC Of Ukhrul.

Qualifying round of the biggest football event in the state will feature 17 teams of different district associations of All Manipur Football Association. Mode of the qualifier will be group-wise knock-out basis of four groups and the winners of each group will qualify for final round this year edition.

Youn Physique Union of Imphal West , XI Star SU of Imphal East , MUVANLAI AC of Sadar Hills, UUFC of Ukhrul  SAO of Kakching are in Group (A). CYLC of Immphal West, KLASA of Bishnupur, KIYC of Imphal East, LSC of CCpur are grouped in Group (B). KYVO of BPR, ABA of IE THAU of IW YWU of Kakching are gathered in Group (C). CWC of DSA Moreh, MTFC of DSA Senapati NLYC of CCpur and WYC of  Thoubal are clustered in Group (D).

Final round of the Meet will begin on November 2. In the final round, defending champion Shillong Lajong FC, the lone I-League team of North East India, and other two outstation teams will be expected to charm the fans of Manipur.
