Panthoibi Youth Club lift the trophy of M Rabichandra Memorial Football

Imphal, January 15: Panthoibi Youth Club Bashikhong Imphal East beat Khagemba Football Club 5-1 and won the winner's title of the 3rd State Level M Rabichandra Memorial Men's Open Football Tournament, 2012 organised by M. Rabichandra Memorial Trust at the Kyamgei Ideal High School Playground, Imphal East , today .
In the keenly contested final match, Panthoibi Youth Club managed to lead through Ashok's goal in first six minutes of the match. Ashok scored two more goals in the match. Panthoibi's Gandhi added two goals and Anilkumar scored the other goal. Jaky reduced one goal in 48th minute from Khagemba's side, but they failed to race the margin till the match ended.
While Panthoibi Youth Club won the winner’s trophy, Khagemba ended with the runners up trophy after a big defeat .
Santosh of XI-Boys Chajing adjuged the best player of the tournament . Top Scorer award went to LSFA's Bipin while Nanao of Khagemba won the Best Goalkeeper award. Ashok of Pantoibi was named the Man of the match and PRSTHH Canchipur lifted the Fair Paly trophy.
Closing funtion's Chief Guest RK Dhiren ,Retd Joint Director YAS, President Kh. Ibohal, Head Master Kyamgei Ideal High School, Guest of Honours Ph. Landhoni, Principal Standard Robert English School and K. Kennedy, Pricipal IPS presented the prizes of the tournament.
