Imphal, March 03: In today’s first match of the ongoing Th Birachandra Memorial U-16 Football Tournament organised by the Th Brachandra Singh Football Academy (TBSFA) at Taobungkhok, KYVO, Leimapokpam Khunfam beat YSC, Sekmaijin 3-2.
In the keenly contested match, first blood was drawn by Dinesh of YSC in the 4th minute. But it was soon equalised by a goal of KYVO’s Sunil in the 8th minute of the match.
YSC again took the lead with a goal of Ramananda in the 25th minute. Again their lead was shortlived when Thanil of KYVO equalised the score in the 39th minute. The winning goal of KYVO was scored in the 61st minute of the match by Thoithoi.
The second match which was played YOSC, Khurai and BMSC (B), Taobungkhok ended in a goalless draw.
