The Tamilnadu Football Association has named their final 20 players squad for the 66th edition of the National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy which is being played from today until May 27 across Orissa. The TFA had held trials in Chennai to select their state team.
Former India striker Syed Sabir Pasha and current Indian Bank coach
has been appointed by the TFA as the coach of the Tamil Nadu state team,
who have been drawn in the quarterfinal league Group D along with
Railways, Cluster-I winner and Cluster-VI winner playing their matches
on May 19 (vs Cluster-I winner), on May 21 (vs Cluster-VI winner) and
May 23 (vs Railways).
