IMPHAL, May 2: Manipur settled for a 1-1 draw with Uttar Pradesh in the first-leg match of the Manchester United Football Club Under-15 Boys Football Tour- nament at Jamshedpur today.
While K Kuber netted the goal in the 16th minute, Manipur had an opportunity to score another in the group D match but Ng Peter failed to convert a 28th minute penalty award.
With Assam scratched from the group for fielding overage players, the second leg between Manipur and UP will be played tomorrow

IMPHAL, May 2: Mangcha Memorial Club, Moreh edg-ed past 9 Assam Rifles by a solitary goal in the final match of the Friendship Trophy football tournament at Galngam Lentol pu- blic ground, Moreh today.Vara Hmar scored the match-winner in the 37th minute. The champions were awarded Rs 15,000 and the runners-up presented Rs 10,000.
In all 12 teams, including two from Myanmar took part in the tournament organised jointly by Moreh Youth Club and 9 Assam Rifles since April 22
