IMPHAL, July 20: Martin grammar, Thoubal from Group C and North Eastern, Imphal East has sealed their places in the semi-final of the U-14 State Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament at the practice ground, Khuman Lampak.

Hill Rose, CCPur had already entered the semi-final yesterday from Group A.

The fourth and final berth will be decided tomorrow between First officer Academy, Ukl and Brighter English, Kpi for Group B.

Meanwhile, in the U-17 boys’ category of the same tournament, Little Angels, Paradise, Tbl from Group B, Oxford English School, I/W from Group C and Excellent Academy, I/E from Group D have sealed their berths for the semi-finals, while the winner of the Little Angels, Ukl and Thangkhai HS, CCpur tomorrow will join the three.

U-17 matches are played at the Khuman lampak, Main Stadium.

In the first U-17 match today, Phuballa High School, Bpr defeated Excellent Academy, I/E by 2-1, however the I/E school entered the semi-final on goal difference.

T Bijendra and O Rishikanta scored one each for the Bpr school, while K Inao scored one for the I/E school.

In the secod match, Thanii Memorial, Chandel defeated Jiribam HS, Jiri by 7-0.

Shelminthang scored four goals for the Chandel school. However their win remained inconsequential as Oxford English School of I/W had already entered the semi-final after defeating both the team.

In the third match of the day, Little Angel’s, Ukhrul defeated Don Bosco, Senapati by 5-2.

Yungrei Kasar scored three while, Themyui Jazo scored twice for the Ukl school. K Kraiba and K Pungdominic scored one each for the Senapati school.

In the first match of the U-14, Martin Grammar, Tbl defeated Maram Govt, Senapati by 4-0.

N Biolence scored twice while Deepak, and N Sushilkumar scored one each.

The second match of the day between Don Bosco, Tamenglong and Cambridge Eng, JBM ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the third match of the day, North Eastern School, I/E defeated Nilamani English School, I/W by 1-0.

Y Raj Shah scored the goal for I/E.

In the last match, Maram Govt, Spt defeated Pinjabati, H/S, BPR by 3-1.
