Lisbon: Although as a substitute in the 84th minute, but the clash on Sunday will be a memorable one for Indian football captain Sunil Chhetri.

Sportskeeda reported that Chhetri made his debut for Sporting Clube de Portugal (SCP) 'B' in the Portugese Second League (Liga de Honra) against SC Freamunde this weekend.

The match had well been decided by the time Chhetri came on, since SCP were leading 2-0 thanks to a brace by Ricardo Escagio (49th & 65th minute).

Chhetri had had some pre-season training for SCP before returning to do national duty in the Nehru Cup.
