IMPHAL, May 31: Imphal West DFA routed DSA, Kakching 4-0 in the final outing of the 12th Junior Girls Inter District Football Tournament at Khuman Lampak Artificial Turf today.
The win was the third in four matches for IWDFA, who clinched the title with 10 points. Imphal East DFA secured the runners-up position on seven points while the Kakching girls failed to open the point account.
N Ratanbala (2nd), W Ranjibala (10th), Premi Chanu (11th) and T Luxmi Devi (34th) scored the IWDFA goals.
Football coach Stephen David Darby of England, who is supervising an ongoing Manipur Development society-sponsored coaching camp for youngsters, graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest while AMFA treasurer L Dinamani was the president.
