IMPHAL, May 28: UVSA, chajing will take on FLAM as VSAC, Churachandpur clash with FC, Imphal in semifinal matches of the 15th challenge Cup Veteran Football tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung on May 30. While VSAC blanked SEERTI, Chandel 3-0 in the second quarter final match yesterday and FC overcame ISAV, Kongpal 2-1 in the first last eight clash also yesterday, UVSA and FLAM scripted 1-0 and 2-0 wins over TRVSA, Malom and VSAI, Thangmei-band respectively in the remai- ning quarter finals played today.

N Sagar scored the all important goal in the 18th mi- nute to help the Chajing veterans seal the semifinal berth while goals from Dolungpu (27th) and P Sunil (53rd) en-sured easy passage for FLAM against VSAI.
On May 27, L Surchandra (13th) and M Ibomcha (57th) were the FC scorers with Paukhanlian (21st), Khaikho-mang (33rd) and Chuana (49th) contributing in the rout of their Chandel rivals.
