IMPHAL, May 24: With a brilliant hattrick Zamkhothang starred in VSAC, Churachand-pur's 7-0 rout of RUVFA, Lairenkabi in a Group B match of the 15th Challenge Cup Veteran Football tournament played today at Mapal Kangjeibung.

Apart from Zamkhothang's goals scored in the opening, 5th and 25th minutes, Alfred (3rd), Thangchinhau (16th), Seimlam (21st) and Vulla (31st) also found the rival net to pile on the misery.

In a Group A match also played today, Imo scored the all important goal in the 24th minutes as VSAI, Thangmei-band scripted a 1-0 win against ISAV, Kongpal.
