New Delhi, June 25: I-League champions Churchill Brothers have roped in the Portuguese-duo of Hugo Machado and Eurípedes Amoreirinha.
While Amoreirinha has played for Portugal heavyweights Benfica from 2004-07, Machado is a product of the famed Sporting Lisbon Academy.
The 28-year old Amoreirinha has been part of Portugal’s National Squad during the Under-19 UEFA European Championships. The centre-back has also represented his country in the UEFA Under-21 Championship.
Machado, 30, has played with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ricardo Quaresma and Carlos Martins during his time at Sporting Lisbon Academy. The attacking midfielder last turned out for Sanat Naft in the Iran ProLeague.
