Imphal, June 27: With MPSCC (B) beating Thamlakhuren 4-3 and KSBM (A) defeating Charangching 2-1 in Wednesday’s first and second match of the ongoing 1st Summer Cup, 9 Men a-Side Soccer Tournament organized by KSBM at its playground Menkang, the first round of the tournament has come to an end.

On Thursday, Winner 1 of Pool A MonsangPantha Sporting and Culture Club(A) will take on the winner 2 of the same Pool A Thamlapokpi  in the first play of the second round slated for June 28. Similarly, Winner 1 of pool B Riverlane will play against winner 2 of the same pool B Kapaam in the second match on the same day. Japhou and PSCC beat Heigrutampak and Liwachangning 4-1 and 2-1 respectively in the first and second matches played on June 25.

On the other hand, Leipungtampak and Thamlapokpi beat L Khunjai and Heibunglok 2-1 and 2-1 respectively during the first and second match played on June 24 last.
