Imphal, July 7: RSB Bishnupur thrashed St George Ukhrul 4 – 0 in the opening match of the ongoing U-17 state Inter School Girls SubrotoMukhrarjee Football Tournament on Saturday being held at Main stadium Khuman LampakImphal,organized by the YAS.
In the ope match between RSB and St George, RSB dominated the match from the first half till the end of the match. N Ratanbala of RSB Bishnupur, openedthe account in the 16th minute of the match, she then scored her second goal of the match in the 53rd minute while D Grace and Lhingnekim added another two goals in 19th and 55 minute of match respectively. Unfortunately, St George team could not score a single goal in the matcy.
In 2nd match of the day one, Nilamani English school Imphal East, rained goals on New Light Academy Jiribam, for 14 – 0 pounding. Roja of Nilamani English School scored magnificent 5 goals in 8th, 28th, 30th, 36th and 44th minutes of the match. Bidyaranihad earlier opened the goal account in the 6th minute of the match.Sumila scored two goals, Yangbel scored three goals, Borkeina , Victoria, Geetarani scored one goal each to contribute to the final tally of 14 goals.
Victoria H/S Thoubal thrashed Pre Sainik, school KPI 8 – 0 in the evening match. Victoria player H Daya scored 4 goals who incidentally opened the account in just the 4th minute of the match. She scored three more goals in the 7th,14th and 30th minute of match. Meanwhile, Rabiya added another three goals in 18th, 23rd, and 26th minute of match. Narmada scored one goal in 50 minute of the match.
