IMPHAL, August 31: UPSA beat RAU 2-1 in the final match of the Moirangthem Ibobi Memorial 1st Division Football League being organized by Imphal East District Football Association at Khuman Lampak here today.
Although M. Bikash of RAU netted one goal for his team in the very 1st minute of the play, his team mates could not show any co-ordinate efforts in keeping the opponent players at bay. Consequently, S. Naochi and Sapam Bunao of UPSA scored the two goals in the 13th and 52nd minute, thus sealing the fate of the match in favour of UPSA.
