Imphal, September 14: The 8th Manipur State League to be organized by All Manipur Football Association under the sponsorship of Khumukcham Joykisan Singh is all set to start from 15th September 2013 at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal .
In all ten teams would be participating in the League. The teams are Southern Sporting Union (SSU), Kuki Sporting Union (KSC), North Eastern Re-organizing Cultural Association (NEROCA), North Imphal Sporting Association (NISA), Tiddim Road Unique Game Players ‘ Union(TRUGPU), Zomi Football Club (ZFC), Anouba Imagee Mangal (AIM), Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU), United Sports Association (USA) and Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC).
The opening match will be played between SSU & MPSC at 2:00 pm. On 16th September, there will be two matches, KSC vs NISA at 12:30 pm and NEROCA vs TRAU at 2:30 pm and on 17th September, NISA will take on with AIM at 12:30 pm and later TRUGPU will take on with ZFC at 2:30 pm, according to a statement issued by L. Joytirmoy Roy, Assistant General Secretary of AMFA.
The statement has also appealed to all the participating teams to report the venue at least 1 hour before the match.
Meanwhile, according to the order dated August 6, 2013 released by L. Jyotirmoy Roy, Assistant General Secretary of AMFA, a panel of nine referees has been selected to conduct the 8th Manipur State League 2013 sponsored by MLA Kh. Joykisan Singh to be held from 15th September 2013.
The referee L. Tarun, Th. Pasuram, Kh. Ibungo, P. Rajesh, L.C. Roppen, N. Arun, L. Sanatomba, Th, Kiranjit and Y. Ingobi were added in match official penal.
