KANGPOKPI, Aug 26: FC.Zalen, Gamnom-Sapormeina routed Somphung Youth Club 2-0 to win the trophy of Pu (L) Letgoulen Memorial Sadar Hills First Division League, 2013 at Brig. Thomas Ground here on Monday.

Helkhohao and Hemin fetched the two winning goals of FC Zalen in the 25th and 38th minute of the match played against Somphung Youth Club. With a total of 9 points, the highest aggregate in the League, FC.Zalen lifted the championship title.

With 4 points in aggregate, FC.Ngailai bagged the 2nd position while Y.Langkhong Youth Club had to be contented in the 3th place with 2 points in aggregate.

Somphung Youth Club managed to secure only 1 point in aggregate during the League.

Raju of FC.Zalen was awarded the Best Goalkeeper of the League while Helkhohao of the Club bagged the Top Scorer award for his 3 goals in the League.

The prize distribution function held today was graced by Haokholen Guite, Member of ADC Sadar Hills, who is also the founding member of Sadar Hills District Sports Association. In the meantime, Haokholen Guite, Hon'ble Member, ADC Sadar Hills presented a traditional shawl to SH-DSA President Tongjahao Kipgen on being elected as the Vice-President of All Manipur Football Association(AMFA).
